Leaving the cold winter of Utah in late January early February is fantastic on it’s own, but combine leaving the snowy streets with four boat dives a day in sunny weather and you might feel like you’re living a dream.

Dive Addicts has been living the dream, we just returned from Roatan and are glad to report that the sea creatures in that part of the ocean are doing fine. We stayed at Coco View Resort, which is just like scuba camp for adults. There is access to diving just off shore where you can swim out to the wrecks of both a boat and an airplane, and just a few kicks past those are two beautiful walls with lots of creatures to see. “HUGE” crabs, soft corals, all sorts of reef fish, and at night everything from lobsters to octopuses.

Not only was there 24 hr access to nice shore diving, we went on four boat dives a day, which were just a short ride out. When we got a little further from shore we were able to explore more reefs and see my favorite, almost mystical creature, the seahorse. The colors were amazing in the deep blue where we got to spend as much time as our computers would allow.

We had a fantastic time, great friendships were made, and everyone is ready to plan the next Dive Addicts trip together!
