Michael Thornton

Michael Thornton started diving in 1998 and has been an addict ever since. Michael first became a tech diving addict when he completed his Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedures to start cave diving at an early age of 15 with his brother and father. He went on to complete to become a CCR instructor and full cave instructor (including CCR cave).

Michael is a instructor through TDI, SDI & IANTD.

Michael enjoys diving with his family and friends, visiting new places and especially enjoys wreck diving and entering sunken history, as well as local diving in Utah's best dive sites. His favorite dive sites so far have been Bikini Atoll, Truk Lagoon, and the Caves of Mexico and Florida. Michael is always excited to continue his diving education and is continually looking for new dive sites, particularly virgin caves.

Michael speaks fluent Spanish and can teach any course with translated materials.
